Livestock and pets - Guarding Guarding

Guarding

Guarding implies that one or several persons watches over the livestock and that these people scares approaching carnivores off. In its most extreme form, guards should stay with the animals at all times, but in less intensive practices guards may watch over the animals at critical times of the day or year, or constant guarding may be substituted with visits at varying frequency.
