Methods

As EviWild develops, the portal will be filled with evidence from systematic maps and reviews undertaken according to the guidelines of the Collaboration for Environmental Evidence (CEE), www.environmentalevidence.org.

Currently, the evidence in EviWild relates to mitigation of carnivore impact on domestic animals, and is based on a peer-reviewed literature review published in the journal Scientific Reports 2017. The original search for empirical studies of interventions intended to prevent large carnivore attacks on domestic animals was made in the Zoological Records database. Only peer-reviewed papers written in English, where the treatment was compared to a control setting were included in the review.

As the website develops, the aim is to fill every section of the site with evidence based on systematic mapping and literature review.
